UPDATES!

- new emma watson layouts coming up soon (hopefully by sunday)
- new icons & graphics
- new basic layouts for you fellow rpers

I hope everyone will enjoy them, I worked really hard on them. I'm just finishing up the last bit of the emma watson layout, so like I said, it all should be up soon.

ALSO;

We know it's summer time and some of us like to pick up on our writing because we can finally have a break from the school year's clusterfuck. I've found a fantastic RP with a great plot which I'll summarize it in a nutshell:

- the last generation, meaning, Harry Potter's children's generation.
- they aren't in Hogwarts anymore, but at a College called Alzavenia in a hidden land (which is really cool because the only way to get there is through underwater tube/subway).
- cool events and outcomes that will come out of no where which will thicken the plot.
- it's pretty free open plot, which makes it even better for writers with a huge imagination.

It's run by Seo, a fabulously brilliant writer and RP owner. So check it out, it's pretty sweet.

That's it for now, keep your eyes peeled for new layouts and icons.

pescitarian - 1 definition - noun; 1) person who follows a vegetarian diet with the exception of fish and all other sea foods.

Ah, well now I know what I 'am'. The other day, I went to a nearby fresh market to pick up some organic food and a few vegan cookies for my new claimed 'vegan-ish' diet/lifestyle. Coincidentally, I ran into my good friend Alicia who was there to pick up some sweets for her mates and to see her beau. We chatted up for a bit and I told her about my new eating lifestyle, that I nonlonger ate any animal bi-product filled foods or meat in general but that I did eat fish occasionally. Then she was jumped with excitment and said, "Oh! Then you're a pescitarian like me!" I looked at her oddly and then she explained to me a pescitarian is practically a vegan with exception of eating fish and other sea foods.

So, I'm a pescitarian. That makes sense.

But sadly, due to my sudden change of diet..my little anemic problem became kind of a big anemic problem. Lately I've been experiencing sudden rapid heart beating out of the blue and fatigue. My mother
later explained to me that I need more iron because I've been living off strictly vegtables and fruit with the occasionally fish.

OOPs.

So, now I have to stop by the fresh market again and pick some oysters, shrimp, and iron enriched cereals. -sigh-

Oh, and name change has finally legalized!
No longer Terri Reynolds & now I'm legally Iseulle Aeryn Kim, as I have taken on my step-father's surname and my mother's name choice for me. Funn.

P.S: For layout lovers and icons lovers, I'll be launching a new set of layouts and icons and also graphics soon! Keep your eyes peeled loves.

Vegan or Vegetarian?

Recently, I've taken upon myself to become a vegetarian but lately I feel as if being a vegetarian just isn't enough. Occasionally, vegetarians still eat animal bi-products such as butter, milk, cheese, eggs, and sometimes fish. But even though the reason behind my choice to become a vegetarian was for health reasons and not trusting pesticide and hormone fed animals but also it was good to know that I'm making an attempt to save animals from animal cruelty and helping the environment. (yep that's right, eryn actually cares about animals and their well-being).

Eating cheese, butter, eggs, and sometimes fish doesn't really make a difference if you're a vegetarian. You're still harming animals and eating pesticide/hormone fed products. Milk, is from a cow, a cow that was fed with deadly concoctions and then soon the cow produces milk which is used to make: cheese, butter, and milk itself. I'm basically being hypocritical if I eat that stuff and I personally don't want that in my system, so I choose not to.

SO, here's my dilemma..I eat fish. That's the only down-side of my choice. I'm big on sushi and having salmon with vegetables every once in a while. It's the only 'meat' I'll go near. Of course I get told 'vegetarian's don't eat fish' or 'you're basically a vegan since you hardly eat anything animal orientated..so why not just cut the fish out?'

I care about the healthy point of view when it comes to being a vegetarian and the fact that I'm helping animals out. But for some reason, I can't really grasp the need to care enough about the fish but I do care the fact that they also have unhealthy things in them such as the mercury content and what not. Of course, for example, I don't eat shrimp because the process of getting shrimp is horrible to the sea habitat and kills coral beds and homes for many different creatures that live under the sea. The most fish I eat is either trout, snapper, tuna, and/or salmon, all from freshwater. I've stopped eating eel (yes, eel), octopus, squid, and other 'exotic' fish.

But even as of late, I've been debating on my choice of eating certain fish. I make sure it's only freshwater but at the same time, I become curious to whether or not I'm making a healthy/right choice. Don't get me wrong though, I don't mind if people are eating meat or prefer to eat whatever they want. My main point of becoming a vegetarian is to eating only the healthiest and most natural of foods, helping the animals and the environment is just a plus side.

Getting down to the point, should I just stay a vegetarian and eat the fish or just cut the fish out and become a vegan. Already, I don't drink milk or eat anything that was made with milk/butter/cheese. I gave up my favorite dessert which is cheesecake. When I go to Starbucks, I only order with soy milk and no caffeine. I make sure what I eat is generally organic and what not. Basically, I've taken on the role as a 'vegan' I just still eat fish occasionally. So, Vegan or Vegetarian? The only current dilemma at hand.

o6.o7.o9

Summer has finally greeted us, which makes me really happy! Last semester's clusterfuck drove me insane from all the last minute college preparations. I'm eternally grateful to who ever made up 'summer break'. Seriously. With so much free time, I'm finally able to return to the RP world/Lyt making world ( ^^ ). Which btw, has changed a lot since I've last RPed.. Anywho, I'm still debating on whether or not I want to continue making layouts or not. Occasionally I will still take requests of course but making layouts daily and putting them up...I'm not so sure of. ( :/ ) Feedback would be nice? Haha.

Current RPs: Salem Academy. ThirdComing (I might quit this one :/).

More updates & work on the lyt soon.
